Just hope no one else sends me a PM re the classic then, as I have after deleting all the others still 83 Pm's that I do not want to delete as they relate to bookings etc.
And as I am not a fully paid up member thats now a problem.
A bit of notice wouldnt have gone amiss.
Dont know how to save them elsewhere and cant be bothered to either really.

Rob as I am organising this trip is there anything you can do even as a temp measure ???

Not sure I appreciate strong arm tactics or even blackmail re the forum as a means to get people to sign up to the full membership either.!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guys

Lets get some perspective here and clear things up.

Firstly, these changes have been mooted for some time now so this should not have come as a surprise to any of you.

The summary of the changes is as follows.

if you joined up ONLINE THROUGH THE FORUM UNDER SUBSCRIPTIONS, then you will be within the correct usergroup.

If you joined up online previously through any temporary holding page, THEN YOU WILL NOT BE IN the correct usergroup.

If you joined up via cheque, THEN YOU WILL NOT BE IN the correct usergroup.

Its a simple check, visit your user control panel and look in Paid Subscriptions.

Area reps and committee member will be upgraded as I go along, and Andy S will also be upgraded to reflect the work he is doing for the Le Mans classic.

I will also upgrade users who contact me within the next month, and ONLY THE NEXT MONTH, just to clarify, thats upto and including the 23rd Feb.

You must provide me VIA PM your membership number, FULL NAME and postcode if you have joined up by any other means.

Any messages sent after the 23rd Feb WILL NOT BE ACTIONED and you will have to wait until your current membership expires and then join up online through paid sibscriptions.

Just to clarify why these changes have been made.

The club needs and deserves our support, I know the majority of you DO support the club through your subs, but the club needs the rest of you to dip into your pockets and support it.

Now, if you you want more space on the forum, more PMs, and more enhancements in the future, all you need to do is dip in and spend £26 to SUPPORT THE CLUB.

Even Ricky has done it.

Its not much, less than a tank of fuel, it equates to just over 7 pence a day, come on guys, its not a lot really.
