| RE: Rockingham Yeah, Rock on Rockingham, or the 2nd 'Red Nose Day 2003'. Thanks to Steve & Martin for sorting out an excellent day out. I know it must have been good as looking in the mirror this evening the ol' nose is glowing as usual after a good day's blat. Have just had a mo to look at my co-pilot's video from our trip round the oval (dont ask how I managed to be lead car!?) & despite all the black clouds about, there was a chink of bright sunlight beaming down on Rockingham (& my nose)-well sorted Martin. The racing was good too, however from our vantage point on top of the pitlane garages, there were far too many distractions for Wilf & I to spend too much time looking at the cars. I think he steamed up his camera lens with all the 'Hooter' girls strolling about the place in next to nothing.:9 . I even think he had to erase some of his earlier photos of the ASCAR cars when more scenic delights appeared later!!{-} What an eye opener it was. Even one of the cars was called 'totty':tu Finally thanks to Julian who, not only showed me the way out of the circuit but also took me round his place to borrow some kit to sort out my Edelbrock carby :tu Cheers Richard (Hillclimb convert)
