Mot Drive

I took the cob to the test station today for a general checkover, booked in, insured and all above board.
It just needed locknuts tightening on wishbones, everything else is spot on.... brakes, exhaust gases, lights etc. There is an oil leak from the valley gasket and a misfire but an easy fix.
The sun was shining and the car became a people magnet.... but my biggest issue is removing the grin on my face after the first drive

There hasn't been a tool invented for this yet !!!!!

Just got back in from a drive myself and there it is again.

Thumbs up

Congrats Stu, during this fantastic early spring weather, these cars make all the sense in the world!
The amusing thing is how, many people (usually young ones admittedly..) have no idea what it is, they all seem to like it anyway, well done with your build, enjoy!

It' funny you said that Paul, when I was giving the car a last prep before I set off a young lad (9 ish) and pal walked past and asked 'excuse me mr but what sort of car is that?' I told him and he replied 'it's fantastic'.

Another forum member in 20yrs time maybe! !
