Is this a Bargain?

check this link http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...category=29750

spoke to the guy and asked him about it he replied with this-

I have built this car from its componant parts It is a manual five speed box 2.4V6 inj

I have a 2.8V6 Inj engine which I was going to fit but have not got around to doing.
It is a current Sumo MK3 registered number (C300KCA) It was completed prior to SVA requirement so is exempt.

I have the buld recipts and buil manual.

It was mot'd in June 03 and is taxed until Nov 03.

It has no damage or ever been involved in any bump, an is in excellent condition. The only niggley thing I have had is after six months of the road over winter, the ignition relays tend to stick and take a few runs to wear of any built up corrosion. Could solve this by unpluging and keeping in doors over winter.

I have listed it as 99% finished because it is an ongoing project and I have improved and changed things along the way. The things I have not got around to doing are as follows.
It has no wet weather gear.
Boot carpet and boot stay.
Fabricating some air cleaner housings, just flutes at the moment.
I have fabricated a new Stainless Steel Fuel tank but have not fitted it. It has an Aluminium one which I made, in it at the moment.
Fuel sender unit for the tank.
I would like to replace all the insrument bezels with new chrome (not a big job)

hope this helps

RE: Is this a Bargain?

Sibley

The price looks very good to me.
There are a couple of cylinders missing but that isn`t really important as everyone has their own preferences.

The most important question is -Is it properly registered?
On the logbook it must say cobra replica, Pilgrim, Sumo or something similar.
If it says Ford, Jaguar or anything like that then you WILL have problems with future MOT`s etc and you WILL have to go through SVA.

If it is registered correctly and you can get affordable insurance then go for it.

Good luck

Just a thought

Paul

You don`t have to be mental to build a kitcar - but it definitely helps.

GD JAG mk4 progressing slowly - almost ready for SVA
