European Fast Car Show

I am sorry I have been a bit quiet lately but hay, I am sure you have been making the most of it

Is anyone going to the European Fast Car Show next weekend at http://www.thehopfarm.co.uk? I have never been before so I do not know if it is any good – any recommendations?

Hi Louise and all club members,

I have passes for this show for the Esssex Herts and N/London members,
however in the letter i recieved yesterday from the shows organisers, they are also leting me have as many Club members as i can get,so all Cobras are welcome. on arrival at the Hop Farm follow signs for exhibitors entrance where you will find a booking in desk. You will be issued with a pass, indivdual passes for the driver and passenger. If you reguire additional passes ( can you get three people in a Cobra) they will be charged discounted price of £ 5.00 adults and £ 3.00 for childeren.

NOW THIS IS THE IMPORTANT BIT YOU MUST QUOTE THIS CODE C62 OR YOU WON'T GET IN FOR FREE.

Also you must be on the site before 10am each day. If you want to camp over the week-end £ 15.00 per person .
Showers and toilets are also free of charge. The Essex/ Herts/ N/London guys will be going Sunday. If you have any other questions leave them here.

Martin yes I have, some years ago there was a limited amount of stalls there at that time, but brilliant show and loads to do Eric.

Did you manage to get that bad misfire sorted ?, I think you better bring yours on a trailer. Mind you last night i met up with some other cobra guys, and Corvette, Mustang, Hot rod owners and it seems they are also having trouble ,like myself with fuel vapourisation due to this hot weather, I've now put my Kenlowe on all the time.

Hi Graham, yes misfire sorted it was me trying to be clever & fitting two upper flux capacitors (Condensers) instead of one, on the Mallory! No need for trailer now!! (I think)

Also treated her too some new NGK plugs £6:00 per time!!!!!!!!!!! Platinum thin tip and a bit colder running, seem to be better.

Its quite amazing how the air temp affects things; will see you Sunday with one other TVM member, the rest have cried Wolf for various reasons, its quite right what you said re trying to get every body together
