| Hi Andy. I think AC made about 2 of these Lotus powered cars. They were not recieved well from all accounts.

Kind of backs up what the owner said, basically there was one LHD and this RHD version, it just didnt ring true to me though what with carbon panels and 16" rims ??? When did they make them Dave, any idea ???

| They made two, yep they were carbon; one was red I think the other (which was for sale on PH for ages IRO £55k ) was yellow (?) they were £70,000 each at the time, and the interior looks a bit dodgy to me with all that Alcantra (kind of like suede). Very hard to keep lookig nice as well. Not sure a revvy V8 Lotus suits the car, but hey each to his or her own! A cobra with Lotus reliability; nice....

| dont worry dave I do it all the time; the one on PH was at a dealers in yarkshire somewhere (Harrogate I think); not sure if they sold it though. or set fire to it and claimed off the insurance? For comparison there was a much nicer very low miles MIV ally bodied Brian Angliss era AC with the usual 302 at Greypaul in Nottingham last year for £49k, and I was told theyd drop a least £5k for cash..it went soon after.

| The guy said he bought it from Harrogate just after xmas so that bears out then. Your right steve the alcantara interior looked very odd, as to be honest so did the rest of it, and the lotus V8 doesnt sound like any other V8 either ????? As I inferred earlier it almost looked like an attempt to create an original but with a few mistakes The jury is out in my book anyway.
