RE: Trimmers

I would think a good starting point would be £1000.

You may be able to use Dave Brooke's trimmer he's in your neck of the woods.

I suggest you call Dave.

Less Hopefully, GD do seats for £495 and Dash/Panels for £220, so anything below £840 should see you in the savings league

Cheers

Why don't you order the complete interior kit (including carpet) from AK, lot less hassle and the quality is second to none, plus the seat bases have more padding than the DAX seats.

Also be very careful if you are not using AK seats as the space is limited.

RE: Trimmers

I used AK's trimmer Doug Sutton to upholster my Dax Seat shell's, Dash & door panels. The trimming is top class and was very reaonably priced. I think it was about 600 quid but that was 6 years ago.

The seat padding was much better than loads of other seats I had tried. On some seats I seem to remember the padding was very poor but Doug seems to use top quality stuff. The trimming looks fantastic and the seats are very comfortable. Highly recommended.

I remember he was also willing to do things exactly as you want them ie instead of the usual AK style door pockets he did mine with "rouched" (sp?) pockets.

Doug Sutton is around £650 cash for a pair of seats, dash, door panels and gear and brake lever gaiter. He will also trim the carpet for the centre tunnel in that price.Does excellent work I was well pleased with mine.He does get busy though.

Re: Trimmers

Hi,

Just been browsing the site and come accross this. I have just been considering re-trimming my car interior and am interest in contacting either Doug Sutton or the GD contact, both of which seem to be the most reasonable.

Anyone got the addresses and phone numbers?

Cheers
