Classic Le Mans

Is anyone from the midlands area going to the Classic Le Mans in a "normal" car or van who could take my sent for a small consideration?

I'm planning on going in my shiny new Kirkham, but I'm pretty certain I won't be able to get my tent in.

Any offers of help would be very much appreciated and at the very least. I can promise you a ride in the Kirkham if that's of interest to anyone

Thanks,
Paul

I am sure I can get a bottle of Old Spice sent in my boot, don't think it will take up too much room. Can I have a ride in the Kirkhan now. Phil

Why don't you think you can get your tent in your boot There is a group of five of us all going down in our Cobras two up and we will all have our tent and supplies in the boots. You just have to pack the boot carefully using several smaller bags rather than big ones HTH

Doh!...that should have been "tent" but you can have a ride just for being a smart ar5e

I'll try to see if the tent will fit in the boot tonight, but I'm pretty certain it won't.

Paul

I bought two small pop-up tents for just this occasion. They fit perfectly behind the seats in my AK. They only take 2 seconds to be fully "built" and about a minute to peg down. They've got good wind and rain resistance and were about £25 each from Decathlon sports store.

Decathlon - 1 Second Simple - hikers seeking a pop-up tent for 1 adult and 1 child, with small folded dimensions for easy carrying.

Tinka,
When are you going down and which ferry crossing are you using?

Paul

We are going down Wednesday but are still in the process of sorting the ferry crossing at the moment.

Dont forget to ask for the CRC 20% discount if using the Transmarche route.

Cheers,

Tony
