I suspect the V12 Dax that has not sold for two years is still registered as a Daimler It wouldn't be Red with Chrome Mangels wheels per chance

The V12 dax for sale for over 2 years is either a pup, poorly advertsied or overpriced; anything will sell if its well presented around market value, and Ive seen a few Dax V12's sell for 12-14k, and my guess is your costs I mentioned above would be close on £1000 ish all told, not counting all the time it would take?
Far easier and quicker to just drop the price a bit if it doesnt sell at your asking price; Ive always been a fan of piston heads, as Dave says its free so no risk at all (bar a few emails from dreamers who dont turn up at the appointed time ; its worked for me twice selling cobras, one for £20k one for £24k but you do have to put up with a few idiots, put loads of details and good pics up, and revise the advert comprehensively at least every couple of weeks to keep it high in the ranking.

Good luck with whatever you decide; I have a hunch you dont want to sell it at all; just got the winter blues like me!!!

Hmmm, I wouldn't say mine is a pup but its not the bst car in the world either--too much competition on this site for me to make any claim to that title LOL. I could say mine has a supertube chassis (which it does) and try to con...I mean persuade people into parting with an extra 2k

LOL!!!

It costs nothing to try it on pistonheads, I just think that the car you saw for sale that was unsold for 2 years it must be either badly advertised, overpriced, a pup, wrongly registered etc etc no reflection on your car intended.
V12 Dax's sell; fact. You just need a good ad good pics and realistic price; and when you get dispondant remember you only need one person to like it and buy it; the important question is; what are you going to buy next?

Have fun and good luck selling it...
