Not a factor for someone yet to build, But an AK will always demand a higher resale value.

The AK might be heavier but the RV8 3.9 I used to have in mine shifted well enough and if you are thinking of putting in a 4.6 then it will be plenty powerful until you decide you want more POWER

Too many Models I guess? The Sumo, Speedster and the new Supercar thingy means that they can't concentrate on what is/was their bread and butter! Or maybe? they just don't care! There has been enough posted on here over the last year or so that they should have responded by now.

You could earn some money there selling them on the site as I am sure there would be some interest on the site.

Thats one of the issues Chris. Type in Sumo into the search forum and most things start "problem" or somthing similar.
But i do realise that its a popular choice of kit for the novice and so will attract those type of questions....

Just out of interest, Have you looked at or driven a Dax yet?

Similar price to an AK, Same body shape, Same chassis shape. Near enough the same cars actually.

If I had the choice between a pilgrim and an AK I would take the AK route. I like Jag running gear, I like the AK/Dax body shape and they do command a better re-sale value although you will probably spend a bit more building it.

Just my opinion.

Craig.

The thing that put me off the Dax was the price off the shiny bits.
I know that a lot of the bits and bobs can be out sourced but a lot of the Dax only bits are quite a bit more.
