RE: cobretti viper kit

As I see it, the Cobretti Viper is the same as the Classic Replicas Viper. As long as the original builder has built it with the current SVA in mind then you should (in theory) be okay. It all depends on how old the car is. If it has been standing about for 5 or 6 years then you may have to undo some of the work and update it to SVA spec.

The Classic Replicas demonstrator passed the SVA but which flavour of it (full or part) I do not know.

Hope this helps.

RE: cobretti viper kit

I once built an early one of these and it was a bit of a mare. I have also tried to build an old part built cobra but had to undo everything and change lots for the SVA. A real nightmare and NEVER again. Hope this helps.

Contrary Mary

Andy we have spoken before re Cobretti Autotrack. Your main problem will be outside protrusions & radius's on things like screens, gages, switches, filer caps etc. Depends how much bright work the car comes with Eric.
