Just taken my car for it's first MOT in 6 years!

Scary! I just drove the cobra on the road for the first time in 6 years since it's rebuild.

It is being MOTed either tomorrow or thursday (Appointment booked for thursday, but we're hoping he can fit it in earlier).

I know that it'll probably fail, but it's still nerve-wracking!

It drove nicely, brakes are solid, steering felt nice, and oh-the-noise!

Oh well. I'll let you know how I get on.

Cobra 427.
Sheldonhurst 427 were made by Sheldonhurst, run by Bill Cook and Terry Sands, from 1977 to 1987 selling 67 cars.This car had wider front arches than most to accommodate the Granada running gear.

Failed on front wheel bearings, so £19.98 and an hour or so later, and it's got a lovely green sheet!

Also changed the front brake lines as they were an advisory.

Lovely drive home... until I ran out of petrol!

Awesome.
