| Wing Mirrors Just a quick question re SVA regs, I'd like the chrome bullet style mirrors 100mm diameter glass, on my Sumo, bolting these in the usual place - on body just in front of door, will these give me enough view for SVA requirements. I've done the sitting in car holding mirror and seeing what I can see and seems okay to me, but then again I think its perfect now it goes brrummm bruum on its own! Or should I go for another sort to pass SVA. Any advise appricated. Cheers Steve |

| RE: Wing Mirrors Steve I'm almost sure they won't pass the SVA, I stand corrected if I'm wrong, but I think they have to be spring loaded at the base so they will knock back, plus I don't think you will get enough field of vision for SVA.

| RE: Wing Mirrors I agree with Mike, they won't pass. you'll have to fit SVA friendly mirros on the screen pillars and then change them post test. All you'll see is a mirror half full of rear wheel arch. http://animatedgif.net/flags/-flags-uncat/Wales.gif Kev Davies Dax, 383ci Chevy Stroker, Tremec TKO South Wales

| RE: Wing Mirrors Cheers for the offer, already got my nice bullet ones from Europa, it was a mate of mine doing the spary who said can't have those won't pass the SVA So what sort can I use to pass the SVA? and id there any that won't require any hole to be put anywhere? I've got 2 small screw holes on the edge of the screen, Europa SVA job, near the top can these be utilised? Cheers Steve |

| RE: Wing Mirrors The two small holes are for the hood catches if you fit one. Normally most people use the lower of the four screen pillar screws couter sunk from the inside. like the picture, this was outside the SVA centre. I then used the same mirrors but into the body. http://animatedgif.net/flags/-flags-uncat/Wales.gif Kev Davies Dax, 383ci Chevy Stroker, Tremec TKO South Wales

| RE: Wing Mirrors You need an SVA mirror from AK that utilises one screen pillar bolt. I fitted on eof these and passed sva no problem. Graham
