Question Locking Wheel Nuts

Anyone advise on the best place to get some locking wheel nuts from, and the size I need. Running Jag XJ6 gear, image wheels. Tried Halfords but not particularly helpful.

cheers

Dave

Only a genuine question/thought but why would you need them? I dont think most cobs get left anywhere long enough for wheels to be pinched, and its probably easier to nick the whole car!!

Jaguar specialists would be where I looked next

Thanks for the ideas guys, I'll give them a go.

I agree that the car is rarely left anywhere for any period of time, and whilst it may be easier to nick the whole car, it also stands out a lot more than 4 wheels in the back of a van. With a few weekends away booked, and staying in hotels where the car will be left out overnight, I thought £30 in the scheme of things was better than coming out and finding the car on bricks

Will have a bit more of a hunt round, but from the replies it seems most don't bother, so may not spend too much more time on it!

cheers

Dave

I have locking wheelnuts on my Dax

Snakebite kindly had a spare set

I too rarely leave the car in dodgy places for long - just extra peace of mind

Dave,

We got ours from Halfrauds, the XJS locking nuts were in the product list and on the shelf.

Well worth the bother of getting them ..........beware of pikeys especially French ones !!

Cheers,

Tony
