Take care and enjoy.
Thats the point I dont think it had baffles at all!

Have fun

Craig.
Pic attached showing side pipes

I looked at a similar spec car with underslung exhausts and the guy who is doing it has been carefull to route the pipework so that max clearance is given. If it doesnt work out tjen back to the side pipes

Thumbs up

Hi Chris, congrats and I'm sure you'll find the Dax as inspiring as I do, when the sun shines and traffic is light you can live the dream of 'driving the AC Cobra through English lanes'..don't go too fast at first as the 200 ft/lbs from the RV8 is well able to hang the tail out, don't go too slow though as girls smile and wave at Cobs and may think your kerb crawling..
best fun car ever, ENJOY!

Paul/runt.

I See now. That looks like a single pipe system from the manifolds with little baffling in the sidepipes.

At least there will be no holes in the body to fill.

Craig.

Looking good Chris. Enjoy!
Robinj66 on here has an exhaust system from an RV8 Dax that was built to give max ground clearance but needs headers. It is in mild steel but may be good as a pattern. System made by Power Speed Manifolds and from a 1990 Dax.

Nice looking ride Chris. Good color choice.

Those louvers are nice. Can you post some closer pictures and some from underneath as well. Thanks
