Seems quite cheap but am I missing something? What do you reckon to the spec he's offering?

Excellent prices - what seems better value to me on their website is the 375bhp $1475 + $150 core engine. Half the price & only 50bhp less unless I missed something!

Price seems OK, and I did think of importing from them. In the end though I got mine from the enginefactory.com. I paid I think just over $5000. That included everything, i.e. a turnkey engine, including a video of your engine running on the dyno, which I think was a nice touch. Dont forget though you are comparing apples to pears, as you will need valve covers, carb, air cleaner, distributor, leads, plugs, water pump, pulleys and belts etc, and the knowledge to set it up correctly. Also I note that the company you are looking at specifies that they ship to U.S. only.
