The car featured here is Evil Edna, a Dax DeDion - I bought her last July. Was built by Mike Barnes (that was his missus in the ebay photos) in Norfolk (with a bit of help from Dax) and SVA'd in 2005. Featured in Total Kit Car :

She''s been on the ramp all winter, having chewed-up her LSD. Just had it completely refurbished by Dana (no, the axle people, not the Irish singer), who fitted a 4HU LSD into the 15HU casing - now very strong! Dana are keen as mustard, if a tad expensive, but since they were originally Salisbury, these guys know what they are doing and have a good stock of new parts (and fast turnaround - they took just over a week). I can't recommend them enough.

Have re-fitted it into the car over the past weekend and also included a diff oil cooler in the hope it doesn't get cooked this time. Now mobile again and sounding sweet.

I also reduced the carburation from dual quad 600 Holleys (with vacuum secondaries) to a single 850 (mech secondary), and the engine, strangely, seems better than ever.

I'll be bringing her to Stoneleigh and Silverstone this year - and also perhaps a 'run what you brung' day at Shakespeare.

I certainly wouldn't claim she's the fastest Cobra in the UK, having 'only' made 477 bhp at the back wheels at Exeter - but she certainly scares the hell out of me!!
