Talking Passed SVA Today.

1st Time pass at Aberdeen test centre this morning with my sumo. (Friday 13th !!)

It wasn't as bad as expected and Doug Reid (examiner) was very complementary about my build. I found Doug's examination approach to be very calming, he found a couple of minor things that i was allowed to fix while he had a cuppa. I can highly recommend the Aberdeen test centre if you have a choice. He even said that my sumo drives very well. so a big thanks go to pete (sidecarbod) for his info on setting up the steering/suspension.

I am certain that i would never have achieved the first time pass if it was not for this forum and all you that contribute to it. So a big THANKS to you all in cobra world.

Right, i'm off to celebrate. YOOHOOOOOO

Cheers
Jim

Hi Jim,
Congratulations. Another first time pass at Aberdeen. Doug Reid was the examiner I had and I totally agree with you. He used to be a RAC patrolman and he pointed out a couple of potential breakdown causes (Nothing to do with SVA) which he helped me to fix during the test.
I hope you get the registration soon so as you can enjoy the Scottish summer.
