Frank, the dark aubergine looked almost black till the sun hit it, the light aubergine was similar to the BMW merlot.

Cheers Tony.

Well done as usual Rob.

Jewel violet was an Escort Cosworth colour & might be what Frank is looking for.

The specific galleries haven't been built yet, just click to the users gallery under their username if you find a red one.

There are 3 ways, upload to a post, upload to the gallery at http://www.cobraclub.com/gallery/ and you also have a personal album system at http://www.cobraclub.com/forum/album.php?do=addalbum

Best option is to use the gallery, just click into the gallery and then click upload images and your gallery will be created automatically for you.

I would not pick a colour from an internet site gallery.
It will give you an idea only
Your painters will have colour cards that you can look at.
If its next week I would say you may have left it too late.
I wanted a peugeot blue with ivory stripes but when you have 1000 blues all lined up together with 200 whites your mind just turns to mush, I ended up with Subaru blue and brilliant white.
I must admit I did like the picture of the candy apple red
Get the colour cards ASAP and good luck

HOK have a Shimrin base coat which comes out "nearly " like a candy. It does require that you spray white or silver to regulate the hue of the the top colour coat.
On my car the initial coat was white followed by Sunset Pearl and clear .
And no I don`t work for HOK
