2002 DAX Tojero

Can some one talk me out of buying this car http://www.sovereigncarsales.co.uk/frames.htm

It is the second one down 7.7 litre 2002 DAX Tojero. I would love it but I am not sure.
So your mission is ...if you wish to accept it...is tell me why I should not buy it.

7.7 litres........brummm,brummm {-}

Thanks
Paul

Paul

Looks good, but you could probably get a new one built by Dave Brookes for the same amount of dosh.

Sovereign don't work for nothing.

Hi Paul,
I know how hard it is to think logically when looking at Cobras as they all look great. The only way is to decide what you want and why BEFORE you go out looking. Then, if you are like me, you add 50% to the budget and 80% to the BHP requirement and love every minute of it.

My only comment would be about the engine. Some say that the extra weight of the big block effects the handling capabilities of the car. However, 7.7litres of V8 in any car is very tempting.

Have you seen the car? I did get a bit frustrated when I enquired about cars that did not exist. I was told that they were sold but some of these cars are still appearing in ads today more than 3 months later.

Good luck, whatever you decide.
Brian

Hi Rolex.
The car on my stand was about the same price, it wasn't a big block but it had 450BHP and 450 Ft lb of torque, a De dion chassis and a hard top.............and proper stripes (Under the laquer).
Are they offering you a part ex. deal or something?

P.S. Cheers Mike.

Someone just sked me if i was taking the pxss here. Definately not. I, like everyone else I talked to at Donington thought that the car looked fantastic. No dought that I will wish I had a hard top the first time I get caught in the rain - perish the thought!!!
