Real steel are out of 302 hardened pushrods and won't have any for several weeks! is there any other suppliers in the UK?
I've tried ringing repower all afternoon, but with no luck.

RE: usa engine parts suppliers

Be careful here as this is a sore point with me !!!!!!!!!!!! There delivery options on the internet are 'vague' and I ended up choosing the only thing with 'international' next to it thinking that was my only choice. I ended up paying well over £300 for something that I could have got for much less from the UK !!!

I know understand (after a friend told me) that you need to phone them and ask for DHL delivery or the like... DO NOT choose UPS from their internet delivery list !

Re Summit Racing

I've ordered loads of stuff from them, and they deliver really quickly. Be aware however that there is a $29.00 handling charge on foreign shipments, so add this in to your costings. Still substantially cheaper than getting performance parts from over here.
At any rate, I recommend that you order their catologue (for free) as it is an Aladins Cave of great stuff. Only problem is that you end up ordering things you thought you would never need!

302 Comp Cams pushrods- $27.95 (£17.00)for set of 16 standard, or $130 (£79.00) for racing engines. Other prices/manufacturers are also offered between these prices. Don't know how this compares to UK prices.

Remember also that if you choose the cheapest option for airfreight (i.e: USPS postal service) then add another 13.70 gbp to each box on delivery (it's Parcelforce's sneaky way of making extra cash on international shipments calling it a handling service for collecting the duty/tax payable on delivery - in other words make sure it's all in one big box!).

www.fastengineparts.com.

Ring them and (no on websote) and ask for DW! (thtas D dubyu!)

Hes a very helpful guy who will source anything he does not stock.
Ive not actually given him any money yet but Ive got a full rotating assembly just waiting for me to confirm piston size.
