RE: Moto-Lita Wheels

Hi David, I through personal choice decided not to go with the traditional Moto-Lita but a 13" Momo Fighter which is half wood half Leather. (take a look in the gallery pictures)
I find it hard enough to get in and out of the car with that fitted.
So I hate to think how bad it would be with a 16" wheel.
I'm only a short arse so I have the seat quite well forward.

David,

I bought my wooden moto-lita (3 spoke) from Dax last week with the billet boss, if you want I can measure the size tonight. Didn't get an option of size mind you!!

RE: Moto-Lita Wheels

Hi,

You can get road legal quick-release steering wheel bosses, which means you can remove the wheel easily to get in and out. Same sort of thing as they do on racing cars and GT40s etc.

They also make for a great security feature because you leave your car without a steering wheel and the bosses have 100s of combinations so one won’t necessarily fit another.

Cost about 100 quid and might help bring down the insurance costs as well.

Cheers,
Andy
