Le Mans classic

Hi guys

After 6 years going to the Le-Mans 24hr, I'm thinking of going to the classic instead in 2004.

Did anybody go in 2002, have you any info on tickets and camping passes, is it the same as the 24hr, apply to the ACO and take pot luck if you get them or not?.

I've never been to the "proper" LeMans, but will be going to the classic next year, from what I hear there aren't the problems with crowds, camping and toilets ! just lots and lots of good old fashioned racing (remember that??) proper old Bentleys, GT40's and Ferraris amongst lots of others. Maybe we should get up a CRC trip?

We, the South West Area of the CRC are going as a group, don't know the numbers yet.

Yes, we meet at most of the local shows, he also looks after my mates DAX.

I'm trying to pursuade him to go to the classic next year but I think he's taking Richard to the "normal" lemans.
