Nothing wrong with scimitars, it's the extra six inches (ooh errr missus) I though was a bit strange{-}

i assume the body is extended 6 inches so it fits directly onto the scimitar chassis. i believe if you're using an unmodified chassis then no sva is required which is why there are such a lot of kits that use a full beetle chassis:tu

Yes, I heard that GD's new Cobra replica will be based on a VW beetle floorpan with a 1200cc engine

strangely enough, i've checked the boot size of my sumo and i can easily fit in there an 11 gallon keg of carling, in-line cooler, beer taps, pipework and a portable generator!
