Can anybody recommend a garage in Easy Sussex, namely the Hastings area, which has experience with Kit Cars because an MOT, service and repairs are required?

I saw a few receipts from IML garages in Ingatestone in the history folder of my Cob, which I bought from a chap in Essex. I cannot personally vouch for them, as I have never taken my car there; I live in Hereford. The address is:

Hi Louise,

Sussex Kit Cars are not too far from Hastings, a pleasant 30-40 minutes drive west of Hastings at Horam. One of the owners (Dave or John I think - I can never remember people's names) lives in Hastings I believe. You might want to give them a call. They're very approachable, friendly and helpful. They hold a meet regularly at the Six Bells Chiddingly once a month.

Hi Louise,

I'm based in Hurst Green near Robertsbridge and can personally recommend Tony Barnard (A J Barnard Engineering) who is based at Bodiam (near the castle).

He used to build race engines for me many years ago. He specialises in Aston Martins and Historic Race cars, MG's etc but will also dirty his hands on other less exotic machinery!!{-}

He currently has my engine up there for refitting back into my Crendon
after it lost a head gasket coming home from the SVA test.x(
