I don't think so!
Check the poll results so far Den. Looks like your in trouble mate.
Begining to regret joining now eh?
I think you have a free subscription battle between a 6' 2" 21 stone guy and an armed policeman. Wouldn't like to be in your shoes Den.
Cheers,
Neil.

>Dave,

>I hope you dont think we stereotype.

I did think you were stereotyping.

If there is a problem of any kind in an area then I realise that action is needed to correct matters and this roll falls to people who are paid to uphold the law.
I do have a problem with those that take great delight in harassing, bulling, call it what you like, others in any way shape or form and unforunatley your chosen walk of life seems to attract a deal of individuals who take great delight in doing exactly that.
I am not for one moment suggesting that you are one of these people.

Have you never sped yourself?

Certainly, but I an not in a position to penalise others for doing the same. I find that rather hypocritical.

On the gun issue. I have a number of friends who hunt with guns, this I don't have a problem with, although why anybody would, as one recently did, fly all the way to Canada just to shoot a bl##dy moose, I have no idea.
I have never at any time heard any of my friend refer to their guns in a "Rambo" or even flippant way. If they did I would be very worried indeed.

I an glad you are looking forward to your Cobra coming, I hope to have mine on the road for at least some part of next summer.

>but I did have to reply, though in this
>case, I definately think this is the wrong place for it..

Perhaps you are new to forums and the like, but if you post of a forum then you must expect to get a reply on the same.
It's well worth remembering that anyone, anywhere in the world can read what you are saying. Sobering thought isn't it?

I must spend more time in the garage and less on the pc.

May see some of you at Exeter.

RE: Kit Car magazine

Hi

I bought Kit Car Magazine today as it had picture on front cover of genuine 427Sc and Kirkham Alloy replica

What a waste of page space to not only the full page ad on page 132 plus also the various 1/2 and 1/4 ads relating to the same spat

Like kids in a platground and when I pay 3.40 for a mag i want some quality articles and not wasting space with their personal vendetta against each other

Let it go move on and see who sells most mags

Cheers

James

RE: Kit Car magazine

Well done James!

You “bought Kit Car Magazine today as it had picture on front cover of genuine 427Sc and Kirkham Alloy replica.”

Inside it had “some quality articles” on Sumo, fast driving, SVA and loads of other things.

Its publisher took 3 out of its 196 pages to also let you know that it’s so much bigger and so much more honest than its rival. Since you believe that “Its better to burn out than Fade Away”, I thought you’d approve.

RE: Kit Car magazine

Dave,

thanks and I appreciate it. I dont mean to be gung ho and apologise if I do sometime, just very proud of my job.
I also try not to bully though I will disrupt individuals who i have cause to. Anything else is against our codes of conduct.
I'm not being hypocritical, just because I occasionally go a bit fast sometimes, and then book people up for doing the same. If I got caught, I'mjust as liable, even more so to be honest but I'd still book others up.

And there's times to be flippant or take the p1ss and times not to be. I haven't divulged anything that wouldn't already be available to an enquiring member of the public but I take your point about these sites not being a private room with face to face chat.

As for garage versus pc. Hee hee, My other b1tch dave brookes is doing all the building, grrrrrrrrrrrreat!

And it's nearly ready too. His boy has been driving it up and down spinning the wheels and all sorts of nasty stuff. Luv it all the same.

Not gonna be there for exeter sadly but hope you have a good time.

C ya
