Getting the miles on

I've had the car on the road less than a week with the new engine but am gradually managing to knock the miles up. I'm up to about two hundred already (oil/filter changed at about 60 miles) and starting to gradually spin it a little beyond the self imposed 2,000 rev limit (2,500 gently through the gears) Sounds fabulous (think of Bullit crossed with Elanor from gone in 60 seconds and you're half way there) when revving, but ticks over and runs on light throttle sooo quietly. I love it.
Had a nice 100 mile run out this morning, started off with several layers looking like this......scary eh?{-}

Careful how you rewire the house Martin, Helen wouldn't want you to replace the lounge lights with 7" headlamps and wall lights with indicators {-}
