Legendary 427 Kit - Anyone got any Information

Hi All

I am the proud owner of a Cobra Replica that was called a Legendary 427 Kit
I am very keen to find any other owners of this marque as I belive they only made between six and ten
The company was based out of Manchester in the mid 90's

Any help gratefully appreciated

If theres anywhere in the world to ask this question this is the place

Many Thanks

Cheers

James

Re: Legendary 427 Kit - Anyone got any Information

I to am the proud owner of a Legendary 427. Only just started using site properly.
Last I heard there was only aboout six made before the manufacturer went bust.
Asked Rob at Donnington 2004 if there was any others in the club, to be informed he knows of about three on the road. Hope to here from any others with a Legendary so I can ask a few questions to get mine finished.
Cheers.
Alan

Re: Legendary 427 Kit - Anyone got any Information

I`m afraid I haven`t got digital camera.
If you can take a photo of the chassis I`ll be able to let you know if it`s a Legendary chassis.
Out of interest have you got shell doors etc. as the doors i`ve recently had done only filled a whole, not an exact copy of a door. So I could do with borrowing some doors to use as a buck, if you might be willing to allow me to do so.

Re: Legendary 427 Kit - Anyone got any Information

Just found your other post, with photo of chassis. Yes it is a Legendary chassis.
An early one at that, they ended up using box and tube for the chassis rails. All I can add to that is that the all tube chassis where more expensive. If your wishbones aren`t made yet you are welcome to take some measurements of mine.
If I can be of any more assistance, send me a PM, and I`ll see if I can help any more.:thumb:

Re: Legendary 427 Kit - Anyone got any Information

Thanks Scoot, I would like to come and see your car and take some photo's and measurements, could you let me know what running gear they used, I've put jag on the front with my own wishbones and I've got a jag diff and hubs/carriers but I think the rear end may be more difficult than the front . my body is AK but if you want to try a door I can bring one with me, all the best Russ.
