RE: brightwheel kit cars

Jamie,

Whatever kit you buy, for that sort of money, it's going to need a LOT of work. If you're handy with mechanical things there's nothing to stop you doing it, but be prepared for it to take a while.
You'll find lots of help and advice on this site.
You're biggest problem will be making sure it is SVA compliant, difficult, but not impossible.
Good luck

Simon

RE: brightwheel kit cars

Hi Jamie and welcome,
Is this the car that was for sale and then withdrawn on Ebay last week?
At that price it's cheap but as already said will be a lot of work.
If it comes with no receipts for the body ,chassis etc you'll end up with a 'Q' plate too.

RE: brightwheel kit cars

Hi Jamie,

I am building a Classic Replicas Viper which is the later model of the Brightwheel (change of name, owners etc). If it is Jag based and it's a simalar setup to me then drop me a note (hysteria_8@ntlworld.com) and I might be able to give you some pointers. I'm not finished yet but it's a work in progress

You can see the build so far here :- http://homepage.ntlworld.com/hysteria_8
