Large random orbital electric polisher

Hi,

Just to let you guys know, B&Q are currently selling large two-handed random orbital electric car polishers for 15 pounds. They are their own make and I think the price is fixed rather than an offer that is going to come to an end in the near future.

Cheers,
Andy

RE: Large random orbital electric polisher

I got a variable speed one from ebay (brand new old stock etc). Its the one that has the standard (whatever that is !) size backing plate so you can use the Farecla mops. I dont think it was more than £25 to be honest. I used all of the different Farecla sponges on this and it hasnt given me any grief.

I found that they make too much mess, shooting the polish everywhere but the car. They are a light duty machine no good for cutting paints etc... ok for the light coat of wax, polish on a sunday afternoon:tu

RE: Large random orbital electric polisher

I bought one at £90 when I was building my Sumo, I tried it for 5 minutes and instantly put it back in the box, they are a waste of time on the Cobra body shape, Its easier doing it by hand.

Anybody want to buy a polisher for £25?????????????????
