Richfield Seating

Anyone got any comments on Richfield Seating, or their products? I'm looking to get the RX1191 (the 1190 with headrests) - steel frame, etc etc. Are there cheaper/better alternatives?

Any tall people with these seats have any problem height wise?

Cheers

Jules

RE: Richfield Seating

I'm 6'6" and opted for the Richfield over Dax's own fibreglass tub. I thought the RX1191 was the low version of the RX1190 same style but less seat padding do therefore approx 3" lower. I think it's a great seat cost approx £200 more for the pair than having Dax seats made up, but to me worth every penny. The fibreglass tubs were way too tight in the hips and also have less rigidity than the steel frame. Also they look pretty good too. Good luck.:tu

RE: Richfield Seating

Although mine are not fitted yet, the service and quality are second to none (in my opinion). Steel frames are a must if you ask me because I once heard of a chap who had the fibreglass shells and it shattered whilst he was sitting in it. x(x(x( Apparently he got bits stuck in his back! x(x(x(

Not exactly what I wanted!
They even did a special mod for my kit as to give about another inch or so leg room. Very helpful people... :tu :tu :tu

Hope this helps...

RE: Richfield Seating

I used Richfieldd 1100 with headreats in my Sumo. Very pleased with the service and the seats.

Was able to buy additional leathercloth so I could trim the interior to perfectly match the seats. I also went for their head rests (the ones they put with their RX777 seats) which look very smart with my twin roll bars.

Merry Christmas

David
