American engine specialist?

Does anyone know of an American engine specialist in the Essex/London area?
After having yet more problems with my engine, I'm going to pull it out and give it to somebody else to sort out, I've just had enough of the bloody thing.
If there's no-one better, I'm going to take it to Customville at Goodmayes.
Any suggestions?

RE: American engine specialist?

Hi Simon,

What about Cheng Lim (Thunder Road Cars)? He's based in Waltham Abbey, Essex.

Regards

Michael

RE: American engine specialist?

Brian Nichols at Repower in Brighton area knows his stuff and is not too far from London. Worth a call I would think.

RE: American engine specialist?

Simon,

May be worth trying these guys....

I.C.E Automotive Racing Engines

The address I have is:-

Unit 7, Annwood Estates,
Arterial Road,
Rayleigh,
Essex.
SS6 7AU

Tel 01268-727317

e-mail: rooster.ice@btinternet.com

I seem to remember reading somewhere that they have moved recently, but doubt if they have gone far(?) They build LOTS of V8s for the drag race boys.

Good Luck

The American Spares people in Watford are also pretty good with a well equipped workshop and stacks of experience.

Simon,

Have you plugged a vacuum gauge into the manifold to get some readings? - you can find out a lot from doing that. It may give you an indication of where your trouble is coming from. :tu
