AK Dimensions

Hi Guys.

Havent posted for a while, hope everyone is well. I am in the process of drawing up the plans for my new garage which I hope to build an AK in. Can anyone tell me the total width, length & height of an AK?

Many Thanks,

Martyn

RE: AK Dimensions

Hi Martyn.
Nice to see you back
Dims from AK brochure:
Width 68". Overall Length 13'0". Wheelbase 90". Height, to top of screen 46".
Another useful one worth considering is width with both doors open!!! 115"
Hope this helps. You can never have too much room!!
Cheers

Martyn

According to the build manual it's 13' long x 68" wide. This does not allow for nudge bars etc. Hope this helps

RE: AK Dimensions

cant help on AK dimensions but Ive nearly finished having my new garage built (to build a GD in) and its 4m x 7.5m (external dimensions. See pic.

Whatever you do decide how big you want it , then make it as big as you a) are allowed and b) can afford!

good luck!

Sorry picture taken with my phone (digi cam flat!)

RE: AK Dimensions

You should also allow some extra space for the massive Ego you will
have once you complete the build.

RE: AK Dimensions

I like the roof lights, Only dont fill up the loft space else no light will get through. Obviously you are expecting to fill the garage, I see you have doors so you can walk around the outside to get from one end of the car to the other!
