Crate engine from the USA

I have decided to buy my new engine direct from the states, and have been quoted $500 for shipping which sound ok, but does anybody know how much inport duty and other hidden charges i can expect to incure.

Hi Steve,

You will need to allow 4%-6% Import Duty and VAT at 17.5% on the total value of the engine and the shipping costs.;(
