New Forum layout - not good

IMHO this new Forum layout is crap.

I look at this site everyday to learn from fellow Cobra owners about their opinions & experiences - not to be offered whisky tumblers !!!

It is sad to see the commercial aspect of the CRC being rammed down our throats.

This is nothing personal towards those who do an excellent job on the site, but I am interested to see what other people think.

The old layout was easy, quick and more practical.

Absolute twaddle. New forum look is much clearer. If you don't like the look of the new home page then don't look at it & have the forum itself in your favourites.

I do in part agree and liked the older layout. Maybe the new layout is ok and in fact we just disagree with the fact that it has changed, cos we dont like change do we.

2 differences I have noticed.
When I go to put in my password, I have to type out my whole username and p/word. It doesn't recognise it anymore just from the first letter of my username. I dont ask it to keep me logged in as that might show permanently attached to the site. I dont want to look any sadder than I am..

And on the home page, I have to scroll down a little to see what's new.

Maybe we should all buy a set of tumblers to get the revenue back in, or to try to anyway, cos that's why its really changed, then we could have the old one back.

Rob, can you get the tumblers in blue with white stripes? Or with Chevy engraved on them?

We log on to the cobra site to get/give advice and hear a bit of news. I thought the old layout was much more user friendly in helping us to do that.

I agree it will take some getting used to, I also agree with Martin, please put dates the right way round.

On the front page and on posting replies, I have to scroll across the page, (not only up and down) to see everything on 800x600 (pain in the arse), please don't suggest setting the resolution to 1024x768 as I have problems reading it as it is.
