BMW Dax De Dion

Popped to Dax today and while checking out their new De Dion based Demonstrater I noticed a chassis next to it.

While comparing I noticed the rolling chassis had a BMW diff fitted to it??? It was also a left hooker so not destined for these shores.

Hi Michael.
The De Dion With the M3 diff fitted is going to Germany to Christian Nowak, he is building it for a guy named Carsten i think.

Correct Dave. I think it is Cristian's intent to build all his with the BMW diff. He is no fan of the Jag XJ40 diff for some reason.

Hi Michael,

you are correct that my car is being build with a BMW M3 differential.

Roller was more or less ready and I was hoping for april 2004 delivery of the complete car. DJ Sportscars needed the chassis back to carry out some modifications (don´t know as yet what exactly - will only see once the roller is back in Germany) - can only hope that they carry our the mods fast and final.......:}

For the ones interested I do attach a picture of the roller which displays the BMW diff....

Will keep you posted once I have detailed info regarding the modifications.
