| I've Passed! Yep, Friday came, trundled up to Norwich SVA, Speedo was just about behaving. Car went in with tester Les to check speedo. On the rollers 30, 40, 50 then 70 all the speeds were spot on only the slight over read, it did still twitch once or twice only minorly, there's me thinking not again! But he said that's fine Passed, but it's got a slight waiver, not enough to fail. Going to sent the speedo head to Caerbonet CAi to get them to check it out to eliminate that. But I've passed! Went straight up to the Local DVLA office to get the registration sorted with MAC and receipts in hand, and after sitting there an hour found got to wait a few weeks! It's going to be a frustrating fortnight! Gives me time to sort a few things out though. Cheers Steve      |

Steve Well done mate, I just wish the DVLA would coordinate there regional offices, here in Dopey Devon, after the SVA you take all the paperwork to the DVLA office and come out with a registration number and a Tax Disc. Must be very frustrating having to wait for bureaucrats. It will be worth the wait in the end. :tu :tu :tu

Yep, that's what I though was going to happen, After leaving the SVA with a grin that was about to split my headin half I went straight to the DVLA offive, thinking I was going to get a Registration and Tax Disc there and then, but after handing over £128, I was told they'd sort it out next week(this week) then in would arrive a few weeks after that! The grin turn to a grimace, the visions of endlessly driving around in Norwich in the Cobra that night fading - Probably a good thing starting to sound a bit boy Racer, now where are those underbody neon kits! But a few more weeks and its on the road the difficult bits all done! Cheers Steve |
