Stupid Boy

Had hot start problems last year. So when I brought the Cobra back to life and it didn't want to start I feared a f&^cked starter motor. Redid all the leads, fitted a remote solenoid refitted/shimmed the starter motor all to no avail. Added to that the ripped up hands from its sheer inaccessibility. Charged battery (just in case)and turned the key, nothing had changed! Still a tired old half a crank and then nothing. Ok, maybe something needs a good shaking up, bump start, couple of miles drive then restart: Nothing had changed. Flash of light, jump start from Volvo, starts first time. Battery had given up. New battery and every is sweetness and light.

ALWAYS CHECK THE OBVIOUS!
