The download speed from the location was a bit painful, so I have put it up in our gallery, should be quicker to download. :tu :tu :tu

Well done to whoever, but how accurate is the speedo??

RE: 190mph+ in a GT40 replica....video !

I appreciate this isn't in a cobra, but then neithers a GT40, but

This guy manages to max out the speedo at 220mph, i reckon 240mph tops judging by the rev counter, on a bike.

http://www.punchbaby.com/media/gitfa...BR51220mph.wmv

Not too sure about how accurate it is though, doesn't look like 240mph to me, cool anyway though.

There ain't no replacement for displacement.. GD427 on order ... Chassis arriving May , Body in July
Cost to date (Including Tools): £1504.55, Progress to date: Big pile of assorted jag bits in cupboard.

If you look at the road when he's slowing down, the speedo reads 100mph, but it's going past like he's doing 50 (or is that just me?)

Robert,

Any chance of putting this one on the Cobra site as well, as the North American "IT Gestapo" won't let me access the site!!!

Cheers.

RE: 190mph+ in a GT40 replica....video !

bike one is blatantly false- if you time it, he does 0-220 in 22 seconds which i beleive is significantly faster than a corectly gerared f1 car- and then his speedo maxes out- revs keep increasing to an indicated 255mph before breaking- with very little vibration, wind noise, buffeting or anything else to indicate speed- if anyone disagrees please let me know!

RE: 190mph+ in a GT40 replica....video !

The "clocked speedo" clip is up there, I can make my GD do 240mph in 1st, just change the dip switches on the back.

Now give me a picture of a GPS with the max speed and I will beleive it.
