C Spanner

I am trying to raise the ride hight of my GD but my spring compressor does not fit between the coils and I don't have a C Spanner of the right size. Have looked on the net but cannot find one. Does anyone know where I can get the right spanner?
Mike

RE: C Spanner

Chris.
Thanks, jobs done amazed at just how little adjustment of the ring affected the ride hight. Need to measure properly tomorrow after a spin to settle the suspension. Will bring spanner back on Monday.

Thanks
Mike

RE: C Spanner

Mike.
Pleasure to help, I guess that applying more pressure to the spring raises the height more than actual physical adjustment.
See you Monday
Cheers

RE: C Spanner

With the shock sitting well inside the actual suspension end-point eg the hub, then any adjustment made to the spring is multiplied by a factor of that distance divided by the distance to the pivot point. eg raising the spring ring 1mm results in an overal raise of 4mm. Would do the actual sum but I am sure someone out there already knows it.
