Bath Arms meet (South West / Bristol group)

Hi all,
It was good to see so many cars out in the glorious weather yesterday,
it was also good to meet up with the gang again after last months wet meeting in Bristol.
We carried on to Pewsey with Keith from the Wessex group to a great pub with live music etc.
Just to prove that we left England one of the pictures shows us leaving over the Bridge near passport control. :tu

Aug 8 The Horton Inn – tour. Organiser Rob Poulsom. Theme – crop circles in Wiltshire. Meet at Salisbury Central Car Park at 10.30.

Organised a tour last year around Wiltshire and ended up with 10 Cobras, you probably saw the pics in the mag. So will do the same again with lunch back at my place followed by a swim and jacuzzi!!

Hi Kev

Thanks for making the effort to come across from deepest darkest Wales.

I was pleased to see so many cobra's turn up as we had promised at least 20 people, in fact I think it was closer to 40 !!

Wasn't the weather great! I hope not too many people ended up with sunburnt foreheads.

As we discussed, if you can put together a run for mid July, that would provide us with another outing and a chance for more of our Welsh members to come and join in.

I look forward to hearing from you soon with your plans.

Regards

RE: Bath Arms meet (South West / Bristol group)

Hi Paul,
I'm doing a run around the vales and valleys with the local MG owners club on June 13th. I believe it's about a 100 miles. I was thinking of cribbibg that route once I've been round it. 100 miles plus of course the distance to and from the Bristol area. How do you think that would go down?
All in Sandra and I did about 225 miles on Sunday. :tu

I had a bit of a sunburnt neck and nose for sure. :tu

Depends on where we would have to start the 100 miles from, but yes, I think that sort of distance along with the obligatory toilet breaks, should be ok.

I look forward to it.:7 :7
