Can anyone tell me if there is a regional meeting in the Dorset/Hampshire area?, and if so, when and where is it held? How many of you guys attend? Does something need to be set up?.

RE: DORSET/HANTS MEET

Hi,

I do believe there is now a Cobra spin-off from the Wessex Kit Car Club , that meets up somewhere in Dorset. I've not actually found out any more details , but the contact details of the Wessex club are printed in the Club listings in Kit Car mag each month.

Pete.

RE: DORSET/HANTS MEET

Yes there is a local meet in our area, but you have just missed the 1st one of the year. I am also from Bournemouth. Give me a ring on (01202)710765.
The meet is actually at the Horton Inn just past Wimborne on the 2nd Sunday of every month, and is hosted by Keith Fuller or myself when Keith moonlights to the yaghting fraternity. Most of the attendees are in the process of building although we do have a number of complete examples that attent regularly.

There is another meet in Hants on the last Sunday of every month at Goodwood racing circuit near Chichister. The area rep is a decent chap called Steve Loadsman whome I believe is presently 'doing' things with his SRV8. For more info on this meet, try 'phoning Peter Jones of S.T fame and he will be happy to give you more details!

RE: DORSET/HANTS MEET

Hi all,

I live in weymouth and am just starting out on building a sumo. I haven't joined the crc yet or orderd my car but i hope to do so next week. Two questions, is ok for non-members to come to the meets mentioned ? and will there be a crc stand at stafford where i can join or will it be easier to go through the normal routes ?

Thanx

Kelvin

Kelvin

If you wait a week or two, you will be able to join the club through this site. Just finalising the payment system.

RE: DORSET/HANTS MEET

Hi Kelvin & Pete,
Nice to hear there are some more Cobras in the area. I'm building an AK 427 and live not far from Weymouth or Dorchester.
I attend the CRC most months ,I'm almost certenly go to the next meet on the 10th feb as its the 1st anniversary of the wessex area. If you'd like to have a lift or a chat e-mail dwarne427@hotmail.com or phone 01305 871577.

All the best Dave W.

What seems to be the problem? If you post a message, and it takes you back to the original post and your post does not appear, click on refresh and it will appear. The page is cached by Internet Explorer and that is why you don't see your post.

If you do feel that it is a software issue, please let me have more information.

Oh, and by the way I am not actually paid to do this website, and I do not provide support.
