In Outlook select the following: Tools Options Mail Setup Data Files Create a new .pst file (call it backup or something else snappy!) (you may have to close/re-open outlook at this stage) Go to your inbox/sent items/etc etc and copy the mails over to the new folder that has appeared called "Backup" you can then close outlook, navigate through to where you created your .pst file and save it to CD etc at will. Cheers Jim |

| Re: Computer question (non cobra related) Forget all the above......Too complicated. Create a new folder on your desk top and then drag and drop the emails into it, sorted. Something has happend to my posts counter. I'm sure i was on over 1900 and now it has dropped down to 1770 something, what's that all about. Also how do i put smilies in with my text?

| Re: Computer question (non cobra related) Like this, its easy Type your message or signature, left click your mouse button and highlight the text, Then choose your text, highlight it again then choose the size, then again for the colour.

| Re: Computer question (non cobra related) You could have fooled me! If you hightlight the text where do you select the colour/font/size from, right clicking does not give you any suitable options and left clicking unselects the text. Sounded simple initially! |
