Hi Safetyspice/ Garry.
I live in Talke and have a workshop building Cobras along Chemical lane near to McGuinness's, if you want to learn more on Cobras i think you should be paying me a visit at my workshop.
I have built over 70 Cobras over the last 10 years so i should be able to give you some pointers.
Give us a bell, 07785 702005

Re: Buying Cobra

Safetyspice - my advice would be don't let your heart rule your head!! Take someone along with you to bolt your feet firmly to the ground.

Be realistic about what your taking on, especially if it requires maybe a couple of 'small' jobs doing - don't fool yourself over time scales. I bought my AK in April and it's still currently off the road (a number of factors conspire here but mostly woeful deliver times from the states and 'knock on' effect parts needing replacement) - it was, and will still be cheap after all the work is done, but I have to accept I won't get a full summer this year.

Think before you leap and you'll be fine.

(and don't use National Numbers for a private number plate!!! :P)
