Re: Good Day Out........

Great day out. Thanks to Martin ,Julian and anyone I`ve missed for all their efforts.
Lost about a month`s worth of rear rubber in the tunnel but worth every penny.
Cheers guys.

Had to get a copy of Simons photos bascked up before I deleted them, which now allows him yo upload properly.

Half naked women had nothing to do with it , honest.

Re: Good Day Out........(for who !!)

Now I'm really hacked off for now being able to get there with 'Edgar' - I ALMOST prayed for rain at Rockingham.. but couldn't do that to anyone.
Least of all Martin, Julian & co.. after all their hard work.

Glad everyone had a great day - it was raining in the Atlantic (120 miles SW of Bantry Bay) if anyone was remotely interested - which would surprise me if anyone was...
Not bad for a 3 week job - been out here 2 months come next Wed...

At least I can look at the phots - I doubt SWMBO would have let me get any 'adornments' on mine... (she's still undergoing Physio after September's smash anyway)
Looking forward to getting some mileage in soon...

I've rated this thread as 'Terrible' because it rubs salt into the wound....

Re: Good Day Out........

OK, I can't hold back any longer. After perusing people's comments on the Hooters ladies I thought I would recount an experience I had back in Kentucky in 2002. I was lucky enough to be living in Taxes for a couple of years and had to go to Louisville (Loo-a-ville) for a meeting. Finding myself with a couple of hours to kill before my flight back I happened on a Hooters and naturally popped in to sample their tasty dishes (now, now!!).

After a lengthy discussion, whilst putting on my best BBC accent to try to impress, I ended up in the parking lot playing american football with four or five of the lovelies. They had decided to demonstrate the sport instead of explain it. The sun was shining, they were jumping up and down and we ended with a group hug. All in all a great day. You REALLY had to be there to appreciate it. I definately have fond memories of Louisville!

If I ever meet Hugh Grant I will buy him a pint. Apart from that idiot behaviour with Divine, (with Hurley at home!) or whatever her name was, he did great things for an English gent abroad!!!
