M O T Time

God it`s worse than going to the dentist. Bought my Cobra about five months ago and had the time of my life. Done about 1000 miles, I just can`t keep out of it. But the day has come to M O T . You do`nt think of these things when you have had a company car for years. So booked it in and decided to have it really checked over, just to see if it was as good as I thought and told it was. You can`t know everything about these cars. Worries over, passed the M O T and most important he recons the guy that built it new exactly what he was doing and did an excelent job. Boy do I feel good. Is`nt the world a lovely place. Hmmmmmmmmm.

Re: M O T Time

I think it depends on the DVLA with normal cars it's 3 years after first regitration.
I taxed mine last year for the second time without a new MOT, when I pointed out to the guy in post office that the car was registered September 2002.
If you've had a tax renewal form come through it should say on that what documents they require.
To be honest though unless you check your car over yourself on a regular basis as I do, it may be worth an MOT for your own peace of mind.

I agree Kev. Small price to pay for peace of mind, unless your a very good knowledgable mechanic, which I am not.
