British American Engines

Has anybody used the above company to supply their engine and gearbox combo? If so how did you get on. I am thinking of choosing their 350+ option which I have been told will give about 380 BHP and is great value for money. Any comments or thoughts on the above would be appreciated.

Cheers

Lee

Re: British American Engines

Lee,

I haven't got any experience of using BAE for engine/gearbox combo's, but collect a Ford 351W engine from them on 8 May. I was extremely impressed with the service and quality of the final product. Ian even went to the trouble of sourcing new Edelbrock heads for me at a very reasonable cost when they had problems with the original heads. If Ian has offered, speak to the engine builders, they can advise on various options and are very helful and enthusiastic.

If you want to see what you get for your money, you are welcome to call round, I'm just up the road from you at Blackpool.

Neil.

Cheers Rodders.
Hows the car going?
You won't remember me but I met you at the Dax Autumn Open Day last year when I ordered my chassis. If I remember correctly, you and Dave Brooks where taking the Piss out of each other.

Cheers

Re: British American Engines

Rodders, do you know if Dax are having an open day this Autumn?
I ordered my body last week, Gary said it should be ready just before Christmas. All I need now is alot of wet and dry off Santa to keep me busy while the crap films are on.

Cheers
