Re: Cadwell Again.......

I think there is too much ballast sat in the passenger seat of my car, or is it that I am just going so fast around the circuit Didn't realise there was that much water about .

Re: Cadwell Again.......

Know what you mean Tinks -however my GD was perfectly balanced even with 14stone of a welsh defector in the passenger seat, until, that is you persuaded me that my shocks were too soft! Having done them up a couple of clicks to firm things up..........well the rest is history, I spun off a couple of times. Also, having not slackened them off for the return trip, I think I need to go & see my dentist as all my filling are loose -god it was a bumpy trip home. All I can say is to your idea

Re: Cadwell Again.......

Well Tinks, just like you to go that extra mile to impress my wife. Just what did she do to make you lose control like that!!!?! Serves you right for all those comments about her MG!

Re: Cadwell Again.......

Richard, I thought the GD handled pretty well with my bulk in it.
So a couple of extra clicks on the dampers pushed it over the edge did it?
I hope your spin was as spectacular mine.
Obviously I hope you didn't hit anything.

Re: Cadwell Again.......

Kev

Nope I hit nowt. Spun twice in the same place at Park bend after the long straight. 1st time was a straight forward 360, 2nd was much more spectacular. I caught the tail slide then did a double 360 the other way & ended up on the grass about a mile from the track -makes you smile when you realise you've got away with it though & gave me a chance to blast past those MG's yet again

Re: Cadwell Again.......

Ah! Hah! I've discovered why I lost my handbrake at wet old Cadwell.

It as a case of a missing handbrake pad, or at least the lining material.

So It's off to the motor factors tomorrow for a set of pads.
