RE: real steel

I asked them about a website, and they said they were working on it. That was two months ago, and if they've finished it, Google hasn't been told

RE: real steel

I deal with Declan, Jon or Simon (all ace guys) and certainly great for advice. Prices hard to beat and if your spending a bit then a gold card saves me another 10% on parts.

RE: real steel

Declan and Pter etc are great. However I think they have got very expensive of late. At one time they were just a few pounds more and at that worth dealing with due to the good advice. Unfortunately they are now significantly higher priced than Repower,Ultimate Spares and Peter Cooper etc.

This was brought up & discussed on a recent forum posting. Its a shame they are no longer competitive. I bought an alternator from the states recently. 100amp Chrome. The standard non chrome unit from Real Steel was marked up £80. After shipping and tax etc I still saved around £50.

RE: real steel

Guys,

I've bantered his name about from time to time but Paul Blackman at Abbey Sportcars ([link:www.v8tuner.co.uk|www.v8tuner.co.uk]) is an excellent guy to speak to about V8 parts. He knows his stuff and prices are very very reasonable.

I live only a few miles from him and have become chums through my Rover V8 engine build, an honest, no bullsh*t character.

Jim.

Re: real steel

The site at the moment only gives contact details and lets you download the NOS and Autometer parts of their catalogue in Acrobat Reader(pdf) format.
