Weekender at Baskerville Hall June 2005

Hi Gang,
I thought I'd float this idea nice and early to give everyone fare warning.
A friend of mine runs a website for Yahama Vmax owners (you know the great big Harley types).
They recently had weekender at Baskerville Hall in Hay on Wye, and had a great time . They were there from Friday to Sunday and held all sorts of stuff from rides out to charity auctions etc.
Unfortunately the weather wasn't entirely kind to them but a good time was still had by all.

Jon and I were chatting and we thought how about teaming for a big bash next year, all those big bikes and big Cobras.

A date of the last weekend in June 2005 is the time the place Baskerville Hall in Hay on wye.

For some reason Baskervilles website is down as I type but the above link gives you a flavour.

The Hotel has 30 ensuite rooms plus dormitorys and loads of camping spots so it covers all tastes and pockets.

Obviously if you want to get a room get in early.

Let me know if you fancy it and I'll start the ball rolling.

It sure sounds good to me.

It's a great starting point for a couple of super drives out through fabulous country side.

I was thinking of a good run on Saturday and maybe a short run on Sunday for those that want it.

As I say let me know ASAP.,

Count me in, but I won't be able to book up in advance as have no idea where I will be in the world.

If I am around I could always commute over for the runs as "er indoors won't camp".

Cheers.

The Rock Doc.

Great Stuff guys I'll get the ball rolling keep the the interest coming folks.
And yes baskerville Hall has 3 bars, so I think some beer will be in order.
Oh! and there's a disco on Saturday night too.
Jon and his gang had their own private bar for a couple of hours while they did their auction and stuff..
He was impressed with the place and the way they went out of their way to help.

Good secure parling too I'm told, for those that might be worried.

Just thought I'd bring this back to the top as it was a quiet weekend on the forum. Just in case folks missed it.
Rob / Tinka perhaps you could make this one a sticky topic.
